"The Baby Shusher is a revolutionary new tool for parents using an ancient but doctor-tested and approved technique to help soothe your fussy baby and get some much-needed sleep (for both you and baby)."

I was extremely excited when asked if I wanted to review the Baby Shusher. I have the app and I love it. I wanted to try the actual product instead of the app for two reasons.

One being I'm on an awful cellular network, my data gets eaten up so quickly even when on wifi we've had nothing but issues with them. Two being I use my phone 24/7 if an e-mail comes in, a call or emergencies and the Baby Shusher is something I need frequently with my little one! So, I jumped at the chance and said yes!

When I received the box in the mail I was impressed with how small it was. I was worried it may be a bit big, which would make my 2 year old and 4 year old probably a bit more curious about it and try to take it every time I had it out for the baby - but it's small and the simple look of it doesn't make it a distracting toy to either the baby or older kids.

The best part of all? It requires two AA batteries - but they are included! This was a major plus for me, as I usually don't have batteries on hand so I was able to use this right away! It also comes with removable strap!

Justin has been very fussy lately if not held basically 24/7 and with 5 other kids this just isn't always an option. So, when I got the Baby Shusher in the mail surprise! I was holding him trying to get him to sleep. We got it out of the box, put him in his bouncer chair which he usually only sits in for a few minutes at a time if I'm helping another child with something and I just have to put him down for a minute. We put the baby shusher on, and within 3 minutes he was fast asleep! I was in awe, so I snapped this video of it in action to share with my followers on Instagram...

We had the speaker pointed down simply for the video, just to be able to see what it is.. Usually it should be pointed up!

Not only does it shhhhh a baby to sleep very calmly, it also has volume control to have it as high as you want it, or as low. It also has a timer for 15 minutes and 30 minutes. As you could see he only needed it about 3, but we left it on for 15 and let it go off on it's own.

It's very small, not heavy and fits perfectly in a diaper bag too. We took it on our walk to/from school the other day and he slept the whole walk there and back, which in total is a half an hour. He continued to snooze when we got home for another 15 minutes and was up, happy as a clam. Like the box says; it can be used anywhere!

When he wakes up from his naps, he even loves to hold it and well, eat it apparently.. Which is okay because its BPA free!

The Baby Shusher is called the "Sleep Miracle" and I now see why. During the day when all the kids would be home from school Justin would nap 20 minutes here and there before we got it, but now he can get full naps lasting 2 hours or more some times. We haven't had to use it at bed time yet, but we've had it on at night for our 2 year old who tends to wake up when we go to bed and have a hard time falling back asleep - it worked for him too!

The Baby Shusher isn't meant to replace mom and dad's loving arms. But sometimes, mom and dad need to be able to get things done around the house, or with other children which sometimes can't be done while babywearing so the this is the perfect solution!

I would most definitely recommend a Baby Shusher to anyone! Not only for how small, and fabulous the product is but just for the simple fact it works.
